Jacqueline Olive
Physician Assistant student bringing 6+ years of operating-room experience, a broad surgical foundation, and a patient-first approach to every encounter.
A clinician with surgical roots.
I'm a dedicated healthcare professional currently enrolled in the Master of Physician Assistant Medicine (MPAM) program at the University of Tampa, with an anticipated graduation in December 2026. I'm open and enthusiastic about exploring a wide range of specialties as I advance through clinical training.
Before PA school, I built a strong foundation in the operating room as a Certified Surgical Technologist, logging 6+ years across spine, general, orthopedics, podiatry, plastics, genitourinary, gynecology, ophthalmology, ENT, vascular, neurology, and organ procurement. I bring that technical proficiency, an ingrained sense of team-based care, and a collaborative mindset to every patient I'll see as a PA.
Patient-centered
Every decision starts with the person in front of me: their story, goals, and what matters most to them.
Evidence-based
Current literature and clinical guidelines inform my reasoning, from differential through follow-up.
Team-based
Six years of OR teamwork taught me how to move with surgeons, nurses, anesthesia, and allied health as one unit.
Where I'm drawn, and where I'm still exploring.
I'm open to a wide range of specialties as I move through clinical training. These are a few areas where I bring particular depth, a personal connection, or active curiosity.
